As it was supposed earlier Samsung has announced the jumbo-sized Galaxy Player 5.8. It was shown in Samsung Tomorrow as a confirmation of various rumors around the would-be addition to Galaxy player line.
It can be concluded from the name that the most distinctive feature of the new player will be its giant, splendid and lush 5.8” LCD display. Now the users will have to make sure their pockets are big enough to fit such a terrific device in. However, the player can’t boast of high resolution, having only 960×540. What can compensate this disadvantage is 2500mAh battery pack which enables you to enjoy long hours of having fun with your favorite media. All the particulars haven’t been unveiled yet but something can be said for sure even now: there will be a micro SD slot, an internal storage of either 16 or 32GB and a VGA camera on the front facing. Galaxy Player 5.8 will be equipped with Android 4.0 having TouchWiz interface.
It hasn’t been made explicit when the new player is supposed to be available or how much it is going to cost. Stay tuned and we’ll provide you with this information when we know more details.
